Best + Worst builds / spikes
Got this thread up just to see how other pvp players in ha have stumble across over there experiances in ha. What builds or teams have u used or seen that have been efective and which was a complete waste of time.

The good builds were the meta. The bad builds were everything else. PvX has generic templates for some of the current and past metas, so just check that out.

i'm beginning to think the worst builds are meta and other things that can make for 20min games, whether you win or lose.

Best spike: Aura Spike Pre-nerf.
That rolled everything, if you go in the area of either 2 necro's you died. A mobile Base Defender with speed boosts.
Worst spike: Ele ball
It works just HELL slow. Most games are 10 minutes of pure chicken matches. I have yet to have one below 4 minutes.

Best spike: pre-nerf Paraway. The infinite defense of gods+an on-call spike every 5-10 seconds.
Worst: Mystic explosion dervish ball. It worked, but it was too gimmicky, and I hate dervs.

Best:
Few ties between:
Wielder's Strike Ritspike, N/A rift/A rage bomb, Signet of Mystic Wrath Spike or Signet of Toxic Shock Spike.
OG-spike was pretty epic too, life-stealing 2 ghostlies down at the same time nevergot old.
Hence why i think N/A rift bomb was the most epic build evaaaar.
Shit:
Anything I didn't make...

Best surprisingly effective builds, soldier's stance and backbreaker sins. Laughed at both builds first time I saw them as some crazy gimmick but they were both really powerful.
Worst, paraways and the original spirit way. I only played tombs a few times in the early days but NR use to remove all enchants and hexes when it came out and you could have multiple copies of ranger spirits out...was completely ridiculous. Minion factories were also annoying because in HoH and scarred earth it was a total cluster**** trying to target + epic lag.

for me, the best build was :
7x mo/a (2x port, healing/prot elite+ 2healing/prot spells, stonesoul strike+holy strike to kill things)
1x ele/n (prenerf gale (no exhaust, after nerf GoE + gale and some rends/wards)
things dropped dead, never knew what hitted them, it was like... 1400 unprotable dmg, 7 monks ported, bla target down
I think some of you might remember us running this / holding halls with it

ive been playing with pokemon M Aster in gw using ele ball and even though it takes like 10 min per match, it still works very well in ha. Same with b-pike. If u have a good caller that is exp, u can't go wrong. I was surprised cause we ran both these builds and got 145 fame last weekend and i was rapped.

Lol thanks D A R K. Best spike in ha right now i would have to say is either scary's r spike or the spike that We kite Holding Hands was running last night. Scared the crap outta me. Had we had a better monk it may have been a differnt story but as I was introducing HA to some people that only had ever done ab or jq as there pvp exp to HA it went ok.
Ele ball is insanely good spike with defense the main problem is most people do not think u can win relic or cap up to halls let alone win halls. Needless to say I have had no skip runs to halls with it. Mainly all you have to do is have somewhat of a brain to win unholy/XX (forgot the first cap point name)/ anti chamber. Also knowing how the eball build works can make for some very powerful splits. Any spike build is viable it just needs a good caller and decent players.

I think r-spike is the best build all around , has been a dominating force on tombs since the good old days...
worst goes to anything that ends with ball.
